Hey, guys. Yesterday we talked about American jokes, and today I'd like share a few conversations of typical American humor. If you don't understand American humor during the process of watching TV series or movies, don't worry or get frustrated, because every culture's funny bone is tickled a different way. It's hard for non-Americans to see why their jokes are funny, but still, patterns emerged.
It's usually based on shared experience and background knowledge, so puns and plays on words are its basic parts. Although some people consider the pun a low form of humor, but many Americans still enjoy punishing each other.
